Who’s the woman behind the camera?

My name’s Frankie, and I’m crazy about two things in life: animals and photography. Welcome to ‘The Wildlife Side’.

Back in the day, little Frankie was absolutely obsessed with animals. I’d spend every summer at my nan’s house in Mid Wales needing no excuse to get my feet and hands dirty in the great outdoors. I’d visit the annual The Royal Welsh Show and spend hours getting lost amongst the livestock paddocks, sketch the red kites and buzzards that rode the thermals above the valleys, and watch with amazement when the farmer’s border collie worked the fields. Big Frankie is still obsessed with animals, but I’ve come a long way from feeding the sheep behind my nan’s house peelings from the Sunday roast vegetables. Now, I’ve learned how to use a camera, so I do my best to show the world what I see when I spend time in my preferred company… you guessed it: animals.
